Ultrasonic nebulizers are devices designed to vaporize liquids and medications in solution form for use in patient treatment. Instead of heating, they use frequency to convert liquids into vapor. The frequencies generated by the microprocessor-based electronic system are converted into mechanical vibrations by a piezoceramic crystal. These vibrations vaporize the liquid inside the jar without heating it. Additionally, a fan within the device draws air from the outside and forces it into the liquid container. The vapor constantly formed within the container is forced out by this air pressure and administered to the patient through a hose.
