Product Description Hydrophilic gas compress is made of 100% cotton yarn and is a biocompatible, sterile, single-use product. It is a medical material prepared by folding gauze into square or rectangular shapes, without giving any fibers from the edges. Thanks to its hydrophilic feature, it has high absorbency against bleeding. It has been subjected to bleaching process. Purpose of Use It is used to buffer blood during surgical operations, to clean wounds after operations, and to buffer blood on the tissue. Usage The opened sterile gauze compress should be held with sterile forceps; if forceps are not available, it should be used after thoroughly cleaning the hands with soapy water or disinfectant.
